On Tuesday July 17 we completed the Ovide section from the Iberian Peninsula to Greenland. First mission accomplished successfully!

Special cake: On July 16 we celebrate the day of Carmen, big party on board with special food, and we saw land in the distance.

Sunset: Around 12 o'clock at night we enjoyed of this sunset with Greenland in the background.

Greenland only 3 miles. The Sarmiento de Gamboa heading towards the station closest to the coast.

Whales to board: During the last stations we were surrounded by whales. The sea was like a plate and allowed us to work comfortably.

Action, camera! Gabi accompanied by members of the crew took pictures of the Sarmiento that first sailed from Greenland waters.
